We believe in our hearts that everyone deserves the best when it comes to their health. This includes the way you are treated while seeking care.

Meet Our Providers & Staff
Mandy Mizell, FNP-BC
Mandy is the founder of Southern Family Urgent Care and has more than 11 years of clinical experience. She received her Masters Degree in Family Practice Nurse Practitioner and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL. A previous emergency room nurse, she quickly knew she wanted to dedicate herself to medical care by furthering her education and specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. After working for several Urgent Care facilities around the coast, she felt led to open a practice that revolved around the patient rather than the dollar. In 2012, she made that dream come true when she branched out into a small two-room clinic. Patient volume grew quickly as word spread throughout the community that this new practice was not the typical Urgent Care clinic. Mandy has devoted her life to caring for her patients and her family. When not working, you can find her out on her boat fishing with her three daughters and high school sweetheart husband.
